World Record Brown Trout

I ran across this article this morning while coughing my guts up. I can't imagine hooking into a beast like that. Hard to believe that is was only 6 years old.

That is a true beast!! The Manistee produces some monsters.

Here's one of the largest brown trout I've ever seen caught here in the Tar Heel State. An estimated 13-14 pound brown from the Davidson.. Doesn't even come close to the Manistee monster though...
