Mark's First Wild Trout
I hit a blueline today with my two sons, Andrew aka Rollcast (age 12) and Mark (age 11). The main mission for today was to put Mark on his first wild trout. The water was a little fast from the T-storms last night and so the fishing was a little slow. Then, we came upon a piece of trash that someone had left behind and I told Mark that if you pick up at least one piece of trash, your fishing karma improves. Wouldn't you know it, less than 10 minutes later, Mark hooked his first wild trout and it was a beautiful brookie. It was the biggest of the the day for all of us. We all caught fish and had a great day.

Look at that grin!
Andrew broke the ice with this one.
My monster fish
Another monster for Andrew
My last fish of the day was a decent size

Re: Mark's First Wild Trout
Tell him a big 'Congratulations'. Good man for teaching him to take care of the stream. Fishing karma is a good thing

That's what I'm talkin about! Awesome....Great job on the trash too. Leave it better than you found it.
