WNC has been walloped by too many winter storms!! Still, I guess it's really nothing compared to the 32+" of snow from this weekend's storm in some places around Washington DC (with 12-20" tomorrow... affraid ). Think on the bright side...All of the rain and snow equals excellent water levels through the summer...

I keep telling myself that patience now will pay off later. All this rain and snow will hopefully get that water table up and relieve some of the drought we have been experiencing. I keep hearing that Haywood County is getting hit with mud slides. I am not sure if they were all the way recovered from the flooding a few years ago. I am just about to the point where I am taking my 3 wt to Petsmart and fishing in the aquarium section. Twisted Evil

Not sure it's that bad. I think there are a couple of different definitions of blizzard making the rounds.

It's just the wind that's meeting blizzard standards. Gusts are getting a little too high for my comfort around here. Sounds like the roof is going to rip off at any moment... Shocked

I know here it was cold as a witch's teet.... etc, etc. Thought my screen door was going to get ripped off when my dogs kept it from latching properly. I like Fall and Winter but I will be glad to see Spring get sprung.
