Wet Wading Shoes
I'm in the market for some wet wading shoes for getting onto the smaller creeks. I've got a comfortable pair of wading boots and booties that I can wear, but wouldn't mind a pair of wet wading shoes or sandals. I've found these two that look like they can work.

Korkers make excellent shoes. Chota as well. Simms are another one worth checking into... http://www.simmsfishing.com/site/xdpy/sg/BOOTS

What would be the best set up for wading on small streams while backpacking?

Re: Wet Wading Shoes
For backpacking in the summer, you're going to want wading shoes that are comfortable for a long day (or days) of and wading. I use my wading boots with wet wading gravel guard socks and they work pretty well. some folks like the lighter wet wading shoes.
Check these out:
Orvis Wet Wading Shoe
Simms Pursuit Shoe (This one has ankle support, so it helps on those longer hikes).
Hope this helps!

Most streams are still on the cold side, so waders will be needed until about next month. Lightweight waders like the Simms Blackfoot is excellent. I've got a pair and love them. You can roll them up and toss them in your backpack easily.
