Week 7...Stimulator... Empty Week 7...Stimulator...

This week's fly is the Stimulator. I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready to fish the Stimulator once again now that's it's getting warmer!!

I have very good luck with them as an indicator fly the other week at Wilson Creek. Got almost as many hits on the Stimulator as I did on the nymph dropper. I need to stock up on some!

I have not had a hook in the vice in since 2007 so I am rather rusty, looking forward to all the practice ahead.

Glad to have you on the contest Travis!!

Not bad for a fly tyer that hasn't been behind the vise in 3 years!!

On the second Stimulator, tie the wing back a little more like you did on the first fly. That will give the fly the right silhouette when it lands on the water.
