Week 24... Little Black Stone...

Lets see some Little Black Stones. Nymph or dry. Right now, you're bound to run into at least a few of these stones while fishing.

Hook: Montana Fly Co. #16 Nymph
Tail: Turkey tail fibers
Abdomen: Strech Floss Black
Thorax: Stretch Floss Gray
Wing-case: Turkey tail fiber
Flash: One strand of gold krystal flash
Legs: Turkey tail fibers

This isn't the Little Black Stone I usually fish. This is more of a experimental. I'm going to tie a few for the next trip out. I usually tie a black PT for the Little Stones.

Thread: 8/0 black
Tail: Two dark dun dyed comparadun hair fibers
Body: Black superfine dubbing
Hackle: #18 brown
Wing: Turkey feather
Antenna: Two more dark dun comparadun hair fibers
