Black and Yellow on the SoHo

We decided I needed a break from being the handyman and go fish. Looked at the schedules from the TVA and ran early to the SoHo. I had not been since back in the spring. Was sort of afraid I couldn't cast 15' and 20' leaders anymore. Love that river

Had no gen. till around 11 am. Wanted to fish dries. Stopped up at the steps and tied on a 22 Blackfly Dry. (I know I have some mental issues) Caught several missed lots more. It's just one of those things I like to do. No logic. To me it's a hardcore challenge to get everything right and keep that little fly in their mouth.



After the water came on we restock liquids and snuff and went down steam to watch the river rip and hope for a Sulfur Hatch. It was not disappointing.



















Got to see Blake for awhile. Good to see him it had been too long.

I ran into some folks I had done a presentation for their FFF chapter on Trash Flies. I also ran into several other folks I knew. Nice to talk fishing on the river.

It was about as much fishing as I have had in a long while

Nice pics! Awesome looking fish. I have never fished the SoHo but will make that a priority for the near future.
