Fishing Sawyers PT
I really needed a stream trip today. Even if a short one. They are calling for more snow around here this week Took off to the DH a few counties over. Surprisingly there wasn't another soul fishing. It was sunny and the water was fairly cold. Rigged up one of those Frank Sawyer PT's under an indicator. Started drifting it thru the pockets. Got to a deep run and added some more lead. Got to the bottom and drifted several times. Finally the indicator stopped and slid sideways. Nice bow
Repeated the process of several drifts and a take in more deep runs.
Not a big number to hand but enough to make me glad to be outside and on the water. I believe Sawyers PT has found a spot in the box. Thanks Frank

Nice! Not many people can say they've fished a Sawyer's PT. Especially one they've tied.

Those are pretty fish! It's been two weeks since I've gone fishing and I am getting itchy. I will have Roll Cast work on tying a few of those Sawyers PT's before our next trip, they look great. Thanks for the pics and the report.
