New to NC and Fly Fishing

Hello all. My name is Will i'm new to NC as I just got stationed at Ft. Bragg. I'm 25 and I've hunted and fished most of my life. Over the past couple years I've really wanted to learn to Fly Fish and a couple weeks ago I finally bought a rod and reel combo to get started. I was curious to see if anyone lived in the spring lake area that might be willing to pass on some wisdom for fly fishing.  Also I didn't see a beginners fly fishing part on this forum and google search didn't really produce a good site. Any recommendations? Thanks Will
