DH Short and Sweet Trip

Took Roll Cast after work this past Thursday to our favorite DH stream for some evening fishing. We only fished about 2 hours, which kind of stinks because the stream is 3 hours round trip. It sure was worth it, we found lots of fish in the three pools we were able to fish and caught fish out of all of them. Andrew caught a beast of a brookie on his 3 wt and he had a blast with it. That one was so fat, I could not get my hand around it to help get the fly out, it was at least 17 inches long and more than 2 lbs and on a 3 wt must have been fun.

That's one fat brookie! Catching them on light rods is definitely a blast!
