hello, i have found a use for all the butt pieces left over after makeing a rod, i take them and measue how long it has to be to hold tippet material, add a small key ring on each end, and attatch a very small rock climbing clip to the end that you want to attach to vest and then finish and viola you have a very nice holder. charlie
