Who's going after em this weekend?

Might get to fish some Sun. evening if the weather is decent.

gonna try to fish a wild stream close to stone mtn on Sunday...if I get enough work done on my extended essay

Might do a day trip to Stone Mountain next Saturday. I'm in need of some trout...

Went to the james today,left reidsville around 5am arrived at arcadia 8:30 decided to try the bridge first, before going to another spot on the river, well the water was high not really off color but then it was not gin clear, caught 8 in less than ahour, never did move, except to get out of the tubers and other things that hqad acertain urge to move withe water flow. It was not as bad as i thought it would be, had agreat time left the river 3:pm.biggest one 3lbs. on a blue popper, rest on a 10 wolly bugger.all for now cheers charlie

Great report Charlie! Sounds like an excellent and productive day out on the water. By the way, have you ever fly fished for Flathead Catfish in the James? There's a lot of fly fisherman that target them over on there. Sounds like a a lot of fun. Apparently they'll eat a large fly more readily than any other catfish.

Going to fish Wilson Creek Saturday. Probably with a million other folks trying to grab a few of those stocked trout for dinner while we camp. I am sure it will be crowded but I think we will have fun.

Well, I think we are going to kill and grill a few ourselves. Heck, I helped pay for them, I may as well eat a couple. Put them out of their misery before the water warms up too much. Not like they are wild trout.

Well, correction on my last few posts. My Bronchitis refuses to go quietly and I was forced to cancel my fishing plans for the weekend. I was really looking forward to some fire grilled trout. I guess I will have to settle for trolling the fish case at the grocery store.
